What happens when a child with special needs becomes an adult and needs a very different kind of assistance? What happens when an adult suddenly becomes a special needs person?
At ArcherConsulting our approach to Adult Life Navigation is designed within a results-oriented process in mind and focused on improving the quality of life for the adult with special needs. It may include such elements as ongoing care, integrated employment (including supported employment), continuing adult education, adult services, independent living, or community participation.
We offer coaching in life skills and transition services to help adults navigate the challenges of daily living. We help them to pursue their goals while protecting their safety and dignity. We also work with family members and professional advisors to provide the tools necessary for them to help enhance the life of the adult with special needs that he or she so richly deserves.
Crisis Management
A special needs crisis, by its very nature, can be overwhelming. People who haven't experienced this sort of thing may not realize the pressure it creates and the expertise required to recover from it.
